Hello, you have to unlock the quest by clicking on the repair icon, front of your house.
In previous versions I could rent a room with the dark knights during the day. In this one that seems to no longer be an option and I don't see a way to rent a room at night as the library is closed.
You need to do some other stuff before the library will be open at night.

I get this whenever trying to update via the Itch app as described in the instructions. I have The Unarchiver on my Mac, which is set to automatically detect and work with zip files, but it looks like Itch is unable to download the files at all. When they appear in my Itch folder, they're completely empty folders.
This is what appears when I click "View details.." on either error.
Hi! that's because you can't download from the itch app, but directly from the website.
I just realized that! I successfully managed to download the pieces and The Unarchiver successfully made the disc image file. I'm currently installing the app and replacing the old one. Hoping my save data stays intact!

The Mac files can't be unzipped together, or as individual files. The install instructions mention unzipping with 7zip but 7zip says the file extension needs to be .zip rather than .zip.00*.
You can't just unzip them - you'll need an application to decompress and recombine them back into one file. "The Unarchiver" app is free from the Mac App Store. Drag the two downloaded game files (do not change their names) at the same time onto The Unarchiver and it will unzip and merge them into a single DMG ready to install.

Yep! That's the clarification I was missing from the instructions.
Files are not getting downloaded. Each version 1/3 till 3/3 creates just an empty folder. An error occured during instalation No manager for installer unknown
