I just downloaded it, and I'm going to try it. I'm a super big fan of the Robin Morningwood game, so I bought not only the game but also the DLC. The only thing I would like to see a bit more of are plus-size hairy bears. I love the muscle bearish type, but chubby is also amazing. Please keep doing this amazing work. I've been a fan for a long time, and I'll keep being a fan for so much more!
Such an incredible game! Excited to see more of it! My one bit feedback I'd give at the moment is to have a fast forward option in the secret base haha
Subject: Bug Report – Stuck on “This game is fiction” Screen (Android Demo v0.2.10)
Hi Grizzly Gamer Studio,
I recently downloaded the demo of Surviving Purge (version 0.2.10) on my Android device and encountered an issue I wanted to report. Upon launching the game, it gets stuck on the “This game is fiction” screen. The animation continues to play, so the app doesn’t seem frozen entirely, but it doesn’t progress past that screen—even after waiting for over 10 minutes.
Here are my device details:
Device model: Realme C75
Android version: Android 14
Processor: MediaTek Helio G92 Max
RAM: 8GB
Storage: 256GB
Game version: 0.2.10 (downloaded recently)
Actions taken: I restarted the game, closed all background apps, and let it load, but the issue still persists.
I hope this helps with troubleshooting. The game looks really interesting, and I’d love to be able to play and support it properly. Thanks for your time and hard work!
I just finished the demo and just wanted to share my impressions and feedback:
1. Art and music
As always the art is top notch and I really like the new artist you're working with. As much as I love the art of Robin Morningwood, it's still nice to see something new and fresh and I think you picked the right artist for this game. I especially like the camera movements and simple animations during the sexy scenes!
The music is a little basic, but I like the futuristic, electronic vibe. Though, I have to say, none of the tracks really stood out to me (unlike Robin Morningwood where the main track became memorable over time).
I also want to note that the backtround art is absolutely phenomenal and I frequently hid the UI just to marvel at the amazing attention to detail. I don't know if animating the background art is feasible, but it would (of course) be amazing if you can pull this off!
2. Story
Not much to say here, the story is very straightforward and I don't think we expect anything groundbreaking from a bara game. With that said, I do like that the setting is clearly sci-fi and that we get to travel around the different zones. All in all, I think the story does what it needs to so far.
3. Gameplay
I haven't played tower defender games so take my opinion with a grain of salt. All in all I thought the gameplay has a lot of potential, though at times I was a little bored by waiting for battles to resolve. I assume this is only going to improve as you create more and more interesting units and enemies. One thing that does concern me, though, is that because this is the main gameplay if for some reason it doesn't click with the players it would be to the detriment to the game (unlike Robin where you had a variety of minigames).
I'm trying to think of any useful recommendations for you guys, but because I've no experience with the genre I can't give concrete feedback. What I'm trying to say is: playtest the tower defender levels, think of as many interesting mechanics and gimmicks as you can, because unlike Robin the game's appeal will rest entirely on this gameplay alone, and I really want this to be the best bara game ever!
Speaking of the best gameplay ever, I felt like the secret base gameplay was a little lackluster. I initally thought we would have the crew living in the base (which would have been so cool!) but then I realized that it's actually just some of the grunts we saw during the tower defense gameplay. Generally I'm not too excited about the secret base, even though I spent quite a bit of time playing around with it. I know it's has that mobile game "set and forget" gameplay to it, but I just feel like it's gonna get very repetitive very quickly.
And last but not least, I just want to mention that the "Delete" (or OK) ability during tower defense is very confusing: I often can't tell who I'm actually clicking on. The icon is way too big and I often think the lower left corner of the box is where the cursor is pointing, only to discover this is not the case. Maybe decrease the size and make it clearer where we're clicking?
This is it! I wish you all the best with the development of the game!
I didn't know until I played it how much I needed a sexy version of Plants vs Zombies. I love the game. The progression feels balanced and the things to do already in the demo are enough to keep me playing. I have come across a few bugs that I'd like to report though.
Bug #1, S-rank bug (game crash): whenever I am in the secret base and use a pill, the game may crash. I figured it might be related to the money drop, but I can't confirm. It also might be using any of the buttons after using a pill. I'm playing on PC on the minimum settings.
Bug #2, D-rank bug (minor graphic glitch): whenever an animation plays in the top row of any tower-defense level, the animation cuts off above the playing field (it's "behind" the top map)
If I find any more bugs, I'll write another comment. Breaking games is my job, I'll leave the fixing to the pros.
Thank you a lot for this game. Can't wait for the full release!
The artwork is super fantastic and also the story also interesting. The unit is good and the variation also make it cute. Just thinking about the sexual attack like when we played Robin that maybe cumgun instead of laser gun? Licking instead of sword? I don't know just want to increase the horniness during PvsZ gameplay. :D
But overall I enjoyed a lot. Can't wait for a full game release!
It kept crashing in my phone (and also removed my wallpaper to pitch black), so I've deleted it for that, but I'm about to try in my PC (which is WORSE than my phone in therms of... everything).
Guess it probably happened because the game was in an occult/hidden file.
I love the game so far, the only thing I'd like to see added is a variety of body shapes during the battle game. I love that the towers have different skin tones and hair colors but having some with different body shapes would be cool too.
Amazing game, best i played so far. Just wondering, if i buy the patreon, what content do i get that isn't in the demo, what percent of the game is in the demo versus what is behind the paywall? Thank you!
sorry for my bad english, i have several sugestions
UI
-the color is blended. if you see plant versus zombie (PVS) each plant have different color. maybe you can make each unit have different color so player can know which unit is placed.
-the energy color (c u m) is kinda blended to brown background. maybe you can add some color-dodge shadow or glow . and maybe you can add the same animation as PVP, its slowly comedown and glowy. its hard to see c u m when you have placed many units and many enemies came.
bugs
-the name didnt change (still achiles)
the game looks very good. have different features from PVP. the porns are good. the fetishes are good.
Crashes after the 1st half of beginning scene (Galaxy Tab S7+).. but it already looks amazing! The build quality is such an upgrade from Robin Morningwood. I can't wait for the full game to release!
Edit: pfft I'm dumb, I just need to leave it at low quality forever lol!
Damn, this is so sleek and good looking! You guys have really upped your game, and I thought your first game was already amazing.
I do wonder how you are going to balance around being able to upgrade your towers, I grinded a bit to upgrade the cummers and you end up with so much money!
I played in my phone and would love a larger font size option. Can't wait to buy the full thing!
Will there be any optimization for the demo or for the release of the full versions? Because even though I lowered the graphics the game still causes the screen to freeze, look, my cell phone runs Robin Morningwood just fine, it's just a question, because I really wanted to play this game, I loved its style.
The only issue I have with this game is there's no gallery to see the animations from battle. I don't wanna do the secret base everytime ngl that's annoying. Everything else is really fun!
So ...I tried playing and was going through the first VA section, was about to do some gameplay, then had to leave so I closed the game. When I tried to relaunch the game, it wanted to reinstall again "weird but ok". And now the short of it is I'm sitting here on my PC probably having to reinstall windows because several programs are corrupted...unsure if I got really unlucky with a weird programing hiccup and it corrupted my windows install or something on my PC just happened to die at the exact time I was trying to launch the demo. Other people have talked about crashes here but mostly on mobile version and no where near as bad as what happened to me. Currently troubleshooting PC though and hopefully I can actually play the demo soon ^.^;
For apk, even on low, i cant see first scene, just all white screen with sound effects, then crashes soon as roommates come home. On a Fire 10HD tablet
Good one. I've always enjoyed Plants vs Zombies back then and this is very reminiscent of it. Also... this game might change my mind on disliking goblins. Lustful Desires changed my perspective (for the better) on muscle bottoms and older sub daddies. And the goblin tops in this game are yummy.
(Long post, apologies ahead of time for its length)
Downloaded the game on Windows PC , and really nice Demo guys ^^!
To give a little feedback, i am quite a fan of Strategy and tower defense games, and really enjoyed what i played so far. I do like the use of the secret base too, to unlock new units and play some small mini-games, managing new followers and etc. Now, so far i noticed research room only gets you to unlock new units, but i'm curious will it have more purposes later if all units are unlocked? To leave a small suggestion, just for the fun of it, i was thinking either could use them as an alternative way to level up units' stats in that way, or maybe use it as another source to make some income too, perhaps? Ooh, btw, yes the stats of units in the secret base do work just fine too (research, speed, autonomy, and generosity)
Now there is a bit tedious to click on them tbh though, i mean, as i have chosen one of the goblins to check their parameters, their options to give them a command was gone, and i had to unselect and select them again to bring it back. I wanted to suggest if possible in the future to update them and perhaps be always active once you have selected a unit in the secret base, or perhaps if you can to include the command options inside a window like the parameters too? Last suggestion I have, maybe if possible have a way to select quicker units you recruit in the secret base, like a category perhaps, similar to the rooms you have. I suggest that cause from the art and your posts i have seen you guys talk about it, and from the map of the game, this project seems to have rather more options along its way yet to come (and really looking forward for them ^^)
Lastly, i wanted to talk about a couple of bugs i noticed while i was playing. 1) During stages 2 and 3, each time an animation played, or items popped under the menu button in the top right corner, they were all cut off, into a box shape.
2) now this one is a bit minor, but for me, it seems that once you upgrade the video-game room, once the goblins used the elevator, the background inside the elevator was gone. 3) Last minor one, a couple of times when a goblin was doing some other animations, like eating, working out, the arm that was playing the animation was glitching a bit, and was switching back and forth a bit real fast to the idle animation and to the room animation. Now this did not happen often, noticed it just once by chance as i have zoomed out and then in, so maybe it could be my PC? But havent seen it happen more, still thought to point it out, just in case.
And that it!! Really enjoyed playing it, and i will definitely keep an eye out for new updates and for the main release for sure too ^3^! Thank you all the team for your hard work, and looking forward for the next parts. Until then, please take care, all!
Loved it. Although it really needs polishing. Other than that, the concept is solid. The art is amazing as always. The gameplay is a bit janky but works.
I think the biggest problem I see with the mechanics is that the tower defense aspect can get old really fast unless you add something unique to the gameplay, although I don't really know what to expect from future levels and areas. If anything, take notes from plants vs zombies 2 for soldier ideas, enemy gimmicks, terrain alteration and UI elements and extra powers. For the tamagotchi aspect, I really like it, but it should feel either more relevant or have something extra for flavor. I don't see any reason to interact with it other than to get extra soldiers and stuff for battles and to see naked goblins chilling around (I'm not complaining but it would be cool to have more sexy stuff to do with them to incentivize the player to take care of them) because it's easier to get money by farming completed levels than getting fucked by the goblins. That's another thing. It's too easy to farm money and get overpowered soldiers to breeze through the hard counterparts of the levels. I guess it's also tied to making the gameplay more unique and not a farm fest.
I would love for this game to flourish and make it somewhat mainstream, even if just in the gay community. The game has potential and would love to actually play it other than for the porn (Robin Morningwood minigames were actually really good and entertaining for the most part and pretty unique and imaginative for what they were). And review the story as much as you can. A good story can excuse imperfections. Robin Morningwood did great in that department. Even if the story was simple, characters evolved and felt important to the story.
My best wishes to you. Hope to see more updates from now on. I really need to see more goblin indecencies. The cutesy art style works great to make them sexy af.

Can't wait till this game is fully released. The demo is so good!

The olny thing I complain about is that I miss SO MUCH the hairy pits pointing out under the arms of every men...
Just like this:
Im confused, I got 2 stars on all goblin area and now it wont let me do anything else. Idk how to continue the game.
There's nothing else, the demo is over.
ohhh ok, it never said thats the end of the demo so i was really confused LOL
